Linda Kehres-Schmidt | Executive DirectorEmail: linda.kehres-schmidt@emporiacf.org Linda Kehres-Schmidt became Executive Director of the Emporia Community Foundation (ECF) in March 2024. A native of Olpe, Linda earned a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State University and a master’s in business administration from Baker University. Linda has had a lengthy career with nonprofit organizations in Topeka, leading one to earn the city’s Nonprofit of Distinction award. Linda is a graduate of Leadership Kansas and was selected as the Women of Influence Rising Star in Topeka in 2017. Linda enjoys swimming, dancing, and spending time on the farm with her husband. |

Loni Heinen | Financial OfficerEmail: loni.heinen@emporiacf.org Loni Heinen became the Administrative Assistant for the Emporia Community Foundation (ECF) in February 2010. She brought many years of retail and clerical experience as well as a younger perspective to ECF. In 2014, Loni became ECF's Program Officer. She became the Financial Officer in 2020. Loni earned an Associate of Arts degree from Barton County Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business through Emporia State University. She completed an accounting assistant certificate through Butler Community College in December 2011. Loni was born and raised in Emporia. She and her daughter, Rylee, made the move to Chase County after marrying her husband, Dave, who has two sons and a daughter. Loni and Dave are the proud grandparents of seven. In her free time, Loni enjoys scrapbooking and fishing, as well as riding trails and crawling rocks in their jeep. |
